Firstdraft has been supporting artists since 1986. Originally established as an artist-run-initiative, its longevity is testament to the sustained commitment of countless artists, writers, curators and arts professionals involved with Firstdraft over the last four decades.

Firstdraft is currently managed by a team of staff informed by an artist advisory committee and supported by a governance board.

Firstdraft operates through the dedicated work of our staff, board, advisory committee and volunteers.
